The Add Menu

This page lists the options in the add menu in the control. You might have noticed that the control has changed now that you have changed pages, this is because you're visiting an admin page. You can get back to your home page by clicking on the logout button, it has an option to either logout or return home.

Text - This is the most heavily used item to build up a page, and the most simple. It is also the only box that can be used with the content editor. When a text box is highlighted, the save and edit buttons in the editor will apply to that box. Text boxes are resized by dragging the bottom of the box.

Layout - When you want to add structure to the page, put your text boxes inside a layout. To do this, highlight a text box and then click in one of the three columns. The text box will be moved into it. You can drag the box back out to remove it from the layout. Each of the three columns can be resized by dragging the bottom of the layout.

Comments - Add a comments box so other users can leave comments on your page. The comments area can be locked and unlocked, and individual comments can be deleted.

Align - The align tool operates on the currently highlighted box. It is used to position boxes either left or right, and as either a fixed width  or as a percentage of the screen width.

List - The list box allows you to move other boxes and layouts between pages. Items in a layout are not shown in the list, they are moved together with the layout.
